Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw “Last Stop Remains Hot For SummerSlam”

 Becky Lynch vs. Tamina

wwe rawBecky gets thrown across the ring and Tamina applauds herself. Becky locks him and gets hip tossed. Tamina hits a forearm and a head butt. Becky hits a few forearms and then gets caught with a crossbody. Tamina hits a tilt-a-whirl suplex and gets a two count. 

A body slam and another two count gives Tamina more of an upper hand. Becky is able to fight out and punch herself out of a submission hold. Tamina slugs away, forearm shots and punches. She kicks Becky in the corner and then gets hit with an elbow. Becky continues to reverse moves and kicks Tamina off the second rope. She goes up top and then hits a missile dropkick for two. Tamina tries to hit a suplex and she locks in the armbar, having Tamina tap out. 

Five minutes. Good match with Tamina getting a lot of the offense. With a size mismatch, you needed some offense from Tamina. I love Becky. She has something about her where you just find yourself rooting for her. I think this was a very solid match with plenty of reasoning to show why Becky is who she is and why Tamina is an important part of her stable.

Mark Henry vs. Rusev

Mark Henry starts off with a some kicks and a body slam. Rusev counters with a kick to his face and then begins to yell at Lana and gets back into the ring. He hits another big kick to Mark Henry and then applies The Accolade. Mark Henry fights out of the submission hold for a minute and then ends up tapping out.

After the match, the focus their attention to Lana, who was on commentary. Lana makes her way into the ring and then takes her heels off. She yells at Summer Rae and Rusev. She wants Summer Rae to get into the ring and fight her. Summer gets into the ring and Lana slaps her in the face. Rusev gets into the ring and out comes Dolph Ziggler. Dolph makes his return and unloads on Rusev. Rusev uses Summer Rae as a shield and Lana kicks Summer in the head and Dolph gives one to Rusev,

The return of Ziggler was HOT! The crowd knew he was coming and it turned an average segment into a really good one. I am not sure if I try and stuff it on the SummerSlam card. Yes, they have 4 hours. Yes, they already have 9 matches. As I type this, I convince myself: Yes add this mixed tag team match to the card. You can push the tag titles to a pre-show if you REALLY need to. This angle has continued to be hot because people LOVE LANA.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
