Ryback Tries, Owens Saves

wwe raw Well, Ryback comes out and dances like Elvis. He talks about his career and is then saved by Kevin Owens. Owens bashes a book that Ryback read to inspire him. He continues to talk about Ryback and how he is going to make him a little boy at Night of Champions.

Interesting pairing and EXTREMELY rushed, but I am okay with this match. I think it benefits Ryback to actually fight a guy who knows how to work a smart and technical match. It will show you if he has really improved.

Long story short: let Ryback fight and Owens do the talking. It was not terrible, but it was not good enough to really make me NEED to see these guys at Night of Champions.

Tag Team Championship Circus

The New Day defeated The Prime Time Players in a really good match to kick off Raw’s in-ring action. I like how PTP has Titus as the guy who immediately picks up the speed and power. He is certainly a star and continues to impress at how athletic he can be for a man of his size. Xavier Woods is just excellent and could be the guy who makes New Day last longer than it probably should.

With The Dudley Boyz on Sunday, I expect a coin flip on who should win. I can make a case for both teams. Dudley’s can capture their tenth championship and celebrate being one of the best. I can also see a disqualification and New Day prolongs the feud. Expect a table to be broken afterwards. Big E needs to take the fall here. Woods and Kofi are always the ones that look weakest. Let’s see Big E overcome some adversity. Either way, New Day could be the most consistent and entertaining thing on WWE television.

Aside from working with WrestleZone, Isenberg began his career in Broadcast Journalism interning at ESPN and worked with CBS Radio for three years. He has also had the opportunity to interview some of the best athletes and performers alive, including Andrew McCutchen, Ben Roethlisberger, Chris Jericho, Billy Gunn, Karl Anderson, Matt Hardy, Steven Strasburg and others.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
