Isenberg Reacts: Impact Wrestling “Promote Jeff Hardy!”

X-Division Championship

impact wrestlingTigre Uno successfully defended his X-Division Championship against Kenny King. King, who is a mystery to me, looks good and carries the pacing, but falls to Uno when he hits a tilt-a-whirl DDT and the Uno splash to pickup the victory.

I never understand what TNA has, or has not for that matter, done with Kenny King. The guy is EXCELLENT in the ring, has a cocky and adaptable personality outside of it and has never outspoken against his employer. What else do you want from someone? He has always been overshadowed and has never gotten his due in the company.

I am happy to see Kenny King out of TNA (spoiler alert) and head back to his roots at Ring of Honor. He made X-Division matches more intriguing, along with Austin Aries. If this is his last match, it was done so quietly and under the radar. Similar to how TNA mishandled him.

The Revolution is No More

James Storm, Manik, Abyss and Shera are no more. We knew Storm would be without Shera, as this split happened weeks ago. Tonight, Impact split up Abyss and Manik, two guys that were sick of being a “sheep” for Storm. Manik even goes as far as taking his mask off and walking away.

The stable was random, but kudos to Storm for making it worth watching. He, as well as Young, has done such a good job of switching his gimmick around for fans to really dislike him. James Storm and Shera has gotten more interesting as time has gone on, but Shera needs to stop being Rocky Maivia. Be more serious and be more to what your strengths are.
