Isenberg Reacts: WWE Raw “Change Dolph Ziggler NOW”

The New Day Entertains Again

wwe rawIt is getting so repetitive, but another solid night for The New Day. They kick off Raw in a really good tag team match against Randy Orton and Dean Ambrose, who were announced to face Braun Strowman and Luke Harper at Hell in a Cell. Randy and Dean Ambrose controlled most of the match, isolating Kofi Kingston from Big E. E would come in, only to fall to a few DDT’s and a cross body from Ambrose. When Ambrose was pushed into Randy Orton, this caused Kofi to roll up Orton for the win.

Raw started off on a positive note. You continued to push The New Day and began a potential feud from Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton. I think that Ambrose should be the guy that turns on Randy Orton, finally giving him a chance to shine as a heel. My only concern: will a top face spot open for Ambrose when John Cena takes time off?

Either way, The New Day picked up a cheap win. Any win for them is a positive thing and they were able to keep moving along in their progression. You have to admit that they might be the only thing you WANT to see on Raw on a weekly basis. The rest is interchangeable.

The Dudley Boyz defeated The Ascension

There was really nothing to note here aside from Bubba and Devon picking up a win against much lesser talent. No mention or real connection with their opponents in a few weeks, The New Day.

If I was WWE, have them appear and cause a distraction, even if it does not cost them the match. Remind the fans that Dudley’s are still chasing gold while beating on irrelevant talent.
