Kevin Owens vs. The Big Show

The prize fighter started off with lefts and rights, immediately attacking Show. He hits a running senton for only a one count. Big Show comes back with some chops, punches and a spear. Big Show chokeslams the champion, but Owens rolls to the outside. Big Show is on the top rope and KO tries to hit a Fisherman’s Suplex, but to no avail. Big Show gets rung up on the ropes and then falls to the outside. He gets counted out and Owens wins.

I really, really hope that this is not the beginning of a feud for Kevin Owens heading into WrestleMania. The fans will crap all over this feud and will not do any good for Kevin. He deserves high caliber wrestlers, intriguing storylines and the ability to stand out by HIMSELF on his first WrestleMania. It has to be AJ Styles and Chris Jericho. Think of how great that Triple Threat Match could be on a grand stage in front of 100,000 fans. Please, please make this a 1-2 week thing with Show and somehow get a Battle Royal or something to determine who Kevin Owens faces. For the love of God, just no.

Divas Match is Set

Natalya won on Smackdown, thanks to a disqualification from Naomi and Tamina on Becky Lynch.  Sasha Banks came out and made the save, which prompted Charlotte to announce that Sasha and Becky will fight Monday night for a chance at Charlotte’s WWE Divas Championship.

Now, I still hope that all three women get involved in the title match, but I still wonder why Paige has not been used in this storyline. There is still time to do that, but I do not see it happening. How can both women get the title match, or will WWE simply go ahead and make it Charlotte vs. Sasha? Either way, it will be interesting but I am pulling for a Triple Threat of Fatal Four Way. I think stacking the odds against Charlotte, who has been a great heel, is necessary for her continued development as “The Queen.”
