The New Day vs. Cesaro and Sheamus

It was Xavier Woods and Big E trying to fend off the odd couple of Cesaro and Sheamus. Sheamus and Cesaro really tried to one up the other, with both men tagging in the other in the corner. They really had some solid tag team action together, but the end of the match turned for the worse. With Kofi on the outside, he would hit a Trouble in Paradise. This would cause a disqualification, giving Cesaro and Sheamus the victory without giving them the championships.

I understand the ending and it helps Cesaro and Sheamus continue to be a team. They looked good and they made sure that this would be longer than a few weeks. Will they actually dethrone the champions? I doubt it. You can have these two teams, along with Enzo and Cass, and two more to fight at Survivor Series. After that, there is only one more Pay-Per-View before the Royal Rumble. You can milk these teams and this feud for another 6 weeks. Overall, the match was fun and gave us just enough to see from Cesaro and Sheamus that could make them a successful tag team in the future.

Talk about history. Talk about a main event. The beginning was smart, even though it took longer than I thought. Sasha looked like the battling hometown champion that she is. She overcame the odds and the drama began as soon as both women went out. The entrances were great, which made it feel even more important. Whether it was the steel chair moves, the splashes, the cell usage or the finish, it was history in the making and delivered. Sasha Banks might be too skinny to break through a table without as much force as humanly possible. People are going to always point out a few missed moments, but it was a great match with the best story being told. The pressure was not too much and the passion for this business flows through both women. I want to see a humble Charlotte Monday night, at first, and then turn it into how great she truly is. She is the best, period.
