Shinsuke Nakamura comes out and then Samoa Joe makes his way. Regal asks him to come to the ring, but he leaves and comes back with his own table and chairs. With security surrounding, Samoa Joe says that he does not want to come down there because William Regal is not protecting him. Regal heads up the ramp and Joe signs it.

William Regal heads back to the ring and Shinsuke Nakamura signs it. He then destroys the security team, which included a powerbomb through the table. He drops the contract on his body and this ends NXT.

We have seen the physicality between the two men over the past few months and tonight was a good change of pace. Samoa Joe is keeping his distance, which is a smart and cowardly heel tactic. I do think he should get the final upper hand next week and have the fans actually believe that he can beat Shinsuke Nakamura in Toronto. Either way, this has been a really great feud (with a few mistakes along the way in terms of build), but the star power of both men are great and should make for an even better NXT Takeover main event in Toronto.

WZ 8Tonight was a thousand times better than the previous week. They actually developed three matches for NXT Takeover and we got to see the champion end the show. Build, build and build. I hate off weeks, but this was a great ending tonight and more productive than the past 2-3 weeks of programming.
