Isenberg Reacts: WWE Survivor Series “84 Seconds Overshadowed 200 Minutes”

An Hour of Memories and Moments

Raw and Smackdown

It would take about two full pages of words to explain the steps in this match and all of the details. If you have a solid hour you can carve out to watch this match, do it. It was intriguing and fun on so many levels. Dean Ambrose got eliminated early because of Braun Strowman’s powerslam after an AJ Styles attack. After more domination, Braun was gone thanks to a countout and James Ellsworth holding his foot under the ring. The best friends made their impact quickly, but a DQ and Jericho getting reversed would end their nights. Splash moves from Shane McMahon and a nasty Spear from Roman Reigns ended his attempt to win for the blue brand, although he certainly held his own.

I loved the Shield’s Triple Powerbomb, as Dean Ambrose aided RAW to take out AJ Styles. When it came down to The Wyatt Family and Reigns/Rollins, Luke Harper said it best. “It has been a while” were the words spoken and the new Wyatt Family picked up the win for Smackdown Live. A beautiful RKO on Rollins in mid air, followed by Randy Orton taking a Spear for Bray and Sister Abigail ended the night.

The moments and memories were wonderful. The face-offs were great to see and the action never stopped. There really was not one guy who did not have a strong outing in this match.

The Wyatt Family won a big match. How about that? You can’t deny they deserved it and Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper could be fun to watch over the next few months. When it is all said and done, fans will remember this marathon match and some of the great spots. It could have been more concise and I think Owens/Jericho were not used fully, but I really enjoyed this entertaining match from bell to bell.
