Are We Recycling Smackdown Live?

Does WWE RAW want to be what Smackdown Live was? Do they want to add Total Divas to a storyline once again? This time, they are going back to Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz, where The Miz completely owns Ambrose on the mic on WWE RAW and calls him lazy. He says he really does not care much about what he represents or what this company is. Sadly enough, this felt more real than most things said about Dean Ambrose. The Miz constantly brings it and will make me at least watch a Dean Ambrose feud.

Dean Ambrose could be great. He is far from it, though. Whether it is his awful ring gear, his scrappy hair, not landing a punch correctly or his overall poor booking, he is just mediocre. Isn’t it funny that many people will cheer for him and say he is a great wrestler whereas Roman Reigns gets booed and says he is not? Roman Reigns is better in every facet, right now, than Dean Ambrose.

This is not a feud that needs to last longer than a few months, tops. The Miz should regain the championship and help someone else get to his level. He is consistent and continues to bring out some great qualities in good talent.

Depth in the Cruiserweight Division

I completely understand what WWE is trying to do when they have Jack Gallagher vs. TJ Perkins, with Austin Aries on the outside with Neville. Both men watched from ringside and the heels got the advantage tonight. TJP is an excellent performer and Gallagher is a great example of taking an opportunity and running with it. I was perfectly fine with not having Austin Aries and Neville in a match tonight and letting a few other guys get some good ring work. Let the division expand beyond just two guys, but keep it reasonable. We do not need to see 6-8 guys get built for a potential championship feud. Perkins, Gallagher, Aries and Neville are enough right now to be featured on WWE RAW. When they are able to move on from this, then you add more pieces to it.

TJP needs to stop dabbing. The kids do it and you are supposed to be a heel. Stop looking like an idiot.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
