The Return of No Way Jose

After being taken out at NXT Takeover and being replaced by Kassius Ohno, No Way Jose made his return to NXT. After a really good match between Kassius Ohno/Roderick Strong and Sanity, No Way came out to help his partners. The match itself was controlled mostly by Sanity, with a strong focus on taking out Roderick. Kassius hit multiple elbow strikes and kicks, following up with a nice combination of power slams and ground technique. When it came to the final bell, No Way Jose interrupted and dragged Dain from the ring. This distraction gave the faces the win.

I liked this return, but I do not love the future of it. For so long, we have seen whatever random face go against Sanity for the same reason. There needs to be more to Kassius Ohno, Roderick Strong and No Way Jose. Why are they friends? Why do they save one another? Give me more depth.

Sanity can be so good, if they let them. It might be getting to the point where you add someone or make something crazy happen. Why would you not want them competing in a tag team division that just lost its best team? Like previously mentioned, the match was really good and Jose was needed back, but let’s remember that NXT is built around intrigue and developing gimmicks that get over. Which one will be successful in the long run? WZZ 6.5

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
