Isenberg Reacts: WWE Smackdown Live “Missing Star Power and Must-See Superstars”

Charlotte Flair is Back

Naomi got rolling with multiple kicks to Charlotte and then a bulldog (did not look pretty) for a two count. Becky Lynch got herself some with a few kicks into the corner, but Charlotte hit a big spear on Tamina. Naomi gets tossed from the top rope and Charlotte went up top to hit a double moonsault. Both women kicked out and Charlotte looks enraged. She locks in the Figure Four on Naomi, but Becky interrupts it with a leg drop on Flair. Tamina breaks that count up and the action continues. Becky is down on the mat and Tamina looks to end her with a splash from the top. Naomi breaks it up, but Lana drags her to the outside and Tamina hits a boot. Charlotte hits a bigger boot to the side of Tamina’s head and picks up the win. Charlotte vs. Natalya at WWE Hell in a Cell in under three weeks.

Charlotte was the right and obvious choice to face Natalya. Coming back from some much needed time off (even though the circumstances were not ideal), Charlotte looks in great shape and looks refreshed. Accomplishing so much already, Flair gets a chance at being at the top of Smackdown Live and I think she accomplishes this at Hell in a Cell. We know what Natalya brings to the table and I do not love it. I cannot describe it, but I can never take her seriously as a champion. They need the best and the best is Charlotte.

If Charlotte wins at Hell in a Cell, I would love to see a Women’s Smackdown Live vs. RAW match at Survivor Series, being able to carry her championship reign longer than the previous ones she had on WWE RAW. Timing is everything and right now is the time to roll with Charlotte at the helm.
