#5.) vs Sami Zayn – NXT ArRival – 2014
In NXT’s debut special on the WWE Network, the opening match saw the young upstart Sami Zayn take on Cesaro. It was the start of the NXT Takeover era and in the very first match, the two would not only have the best match of the entire show, but one of the best matches in NXT history.
The match is an important landmark in the NXT timeline. When Cesaro and Sami Zayn locked horns and went to battle, fans knew that they were witnessing something very special. Even in defeat, Sami Zayn looked incredible and earned the respect of the fans and Cesaro himself, who embraced him after the match. Zayn would go on to be known as the heart and soul of NXT.
