#3.) Team Authority vs Team Cena – Survivor Series 2014

The Authority were like dictators in the WWE and John Cena, the face of the company was the advocate for change, fighting against them. The tyranny continued as The Authority put a major stipulation on the Survivor Series match – if Team Cena lost, all members of the team would be fired (except Cena himself). If Team Cena won, however, the Authority would be disbanded and only Cena had the power to reinstate them.

The match was an absolute thriller, with The Big Show even turning heel and ditching team Cena, also eliminating himself and Cena in the process. Dolph Ziggler was left all by himself, 3-on-1. He managed to make two eliminations before tiring out. When all hope seemed to be lost, WCW icon Sting made a massive debut, attacking Triple H and helping Dolph Ziggler pin Seth Rollins and become sole survivor.

While it’s obvious that Ziggler took Roman Reigns‘ spot (as he was injured at the time), it undoubtedly turned out to be a career-great moment for the showoff. The ending of the PPV was a sweet one, as the crowd sang goodbye to The Authority.
