It was at the beginning of the millennium when Eddie Guerrero signed with WWE. The rumors at the time were that Guerrero was dissatisfied with the change in WCW’s booker, but Vickie Guerrero revealed later on that this wasn’t true. In fact, she went on to say that Guerrero and Vince McMahon would actually meet up in secret ahead of him joining WWE.
Since Guerrero was still a contracted talent in WCW, it would have been trouble for McMahon had anyone found out. Thankfully, the information was only revealed many years later.
