#4.) Babyface turn

A year after their triumph at the massive WrestleMania event, Bret Hart took part in a battle royal the following year. Though he was a heel, he was double-crossed by Bad News Brown, who won the match. The face turn began as Hart attacked Brown and started a feud against him. Jim Neidhart was naturally on his side, but Jimmy Hart certainly wasn’t.

He would then double-cross the Hart Foundation by “selling their contracts” to the Rougeau brothers, taking a quarter of The Hart Foundation’s earnings. It was the right time for them to pull the trigger on a face turn, WWE did it right, and the fans had a good reason to get behind Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart.
