#4.) ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin

Post-WrestleMania 2001 was most notable for the fact that ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, the biggest babyface in years, had shockingly turned heel to align with Vince McMahon. He claimed that he needed an insurance policy, which is why he took to McMahon. However, he would form an alliance with Triple H known as the “Two-Man Power Trip” and together, they both became double champions.

They defeated The Brothers of Destruction to win the tag team titles, and Austin held it along with the WWF title, while Triple H held it along with the Intercontinental title. Their alliance came to an abrupt end due to an injury, but its safe to say that Austin made the most out of being a double champion.
