#4.) Hulk Hogan vs Ric Flair 

In 1992, it was a no-brainer that the biggest possible main event for WrestleMania VIII would have been Hulk Hogan vs Ric Flair. The dream match was penciled in to headline the show, but things would change. For one, they ran the Hogan vs Flair matches for the house show circuit and it didn’t draw as well as hoped.

Moreover, there was another major factor: the prior year, when Sid Justice signed with WWE, his negotiations with McMahon saw the chairman of WWE promise him the main event of WrestleMania VIII. As a result, WWE instead ran Ric Flair vs Randy Savage, a classic WWE title match, while Hogan vs Sid was the lackluster main event.
