The reality for every wrestler is that their careers won’t last forever. Some get to leave on their own terms and some don’t and that’s a harsh reality that wrestlers themselves have to accept. Given the risk of the business, even the healthiest of wrestlers know that they’re essentially on borrowed time and that one freak accident could put an end to everything.

While we have seen many superstars come and go, there are always those select few who create a larger impact than the other. When it is time to say farewell, it’s anything but easy. There’s emotional all around, from the superstar to the audience to people backstage. However, there have been many tear-jerking moments where we’ve had to say goodbye to some of our favorites.
