#3.) ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin vs Dude Love – Over the Edge

Overbooking in WWE has historically been a failure, but this match was the rare case of it actually working. While Austin faced Dude Love for the WWF Championship, Mr. McMahon was the special guest referee while The Undertaker was the enforcer. Ringside, Gerald Brisco was the timekeeper while Pat Patterson was the announcer.

Naturally, there was a spot where everyone got included, with Undertaker even chokeslamming Brisco and Patterson through the announce table. Mr. McMahon naturally tried to make life a living hell for Austin, but in the thick of it all, The Texas Rattlesnake survived, using McMahon’s hands to make the count himself and retain the title.
