Top 5 Wildest Kane Moments In WWE History

WWE Hall of Famer Kane gave fans some of the wildest moments ever seen inside a wrestling ring during his legendary career. His biggest WWE moments usually involved destruction and chaos that felt completely unbelievable at times.

Sometimes things got violent really fast. Other times, the storylines turned strange almost immediately. One example of this is Kane’s infamous May 19th storyline, which was designed to promote the horror movie he starred in, See No Evil.

That storyline was basically a product placement that didn’t really have a major payoff. However, these five demonic moments truly highlighted what made Kane the “Devil’s Favorite Demon.”

Kane rips the door off the Hell in a Cell during his WWE debut

Kane made his unforgettable WWE debut on October 5, 1997, at Badd Blood: In Your House. The moment happened during the first-ever Hell in a Cell match between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels. The arena suddenly went dark before Kane appeared alongside Paul Bearer. The massive masked monster then marched directly toward the ring area.

What happened next instantly became one of WWE’s most iconic moments ever. Kane ripped the steel Hell in a Cell door completely off its hinges. He then delivered a Tombstone Piledriver to The Undertaker.

Kane set The Undertaker ablaze inside a casket

Kane crossed another line during the 1998 Royal Rumble event. During The Undertaker’s Casket Match against Shawn Michaels, Kane first helped his brother fight off several DX members interfering around ringside. Then everything changed pretty quickly afterward.

Alongside Paul Bearer, Kane locked The Undertaker inside the casket. Kane then smashed it open with an axe. He then poured gasoline inside. Kane then set the casket on fire.

Kane set Jim Ross on fire

One of Kane’s most disturbing moments happened during the July 14, 2003 episode of WWE RAW. Jim Ross confronted Kane during a backstage interview. However, their interview became tense almost immediately.

A furious Kane suddenly covered Jim Ross with gasoline before throwing a lit match at him. Meanwhile, Stone Cold Steve Austin watched the moment unfold on the titantron from the ring.

    Kane kidnaps Lita

In 2004, WWE featured one of Kane’s most controversial storylines involving Lita and Matt Hardy. The storyline started after Kane kidnapped Lita. Shortly afterward, Lita announced she was pregnant while Kane claimed he was the father.

The angle later led to a “Till Death Do Us Part” match at SummerSlam 2004 between Kane and Matt Hardy. Kane won the match, forcing Lita to marry him on WWE television.

    Kane electrocutes Shane McMahon’s testicles

Another bizarre Kane moment, perhaps the strangest, happened during the September 1, 2003 episode of RAW. After attacking Shane McMahon, Kane tied him to the ring post and completely incapacitated him inside the ring.

Kane then brought out a car battery along with jumper cables and attached them to Shane McMahon’s groin area. The segment appeared to show Kane electrocuting Shane in one of WWE’s strangest and most chaotic moments from the Ruthless Aggression Era.
