#3.) Shawn Michaels vs Diesel – In Your House: Good Friends, Better Enemies
Prior to his feud against The British Bulldog, Michaels needed to establish a sense of legitimacy as WWF Champion. There was no opponent better to prove this than his former tag team partner and rival Diesel. It should be noted that this PPV marked the final WWF appearance for both Scott Hall and Kevin Nash before they jumped ship to WCW.
However, with one last try, Diesel wanted to go out with a bang. It was the conclusion of their long-standing rivalry and it had an ideal ending as Shawn Michaels defeated the former champion to legitimize his title reign. It didn’t feel as though Michaels won it, but more as though he survived it. It was an epic war to conclude their feud.
