Undertaker had been a heel for the first two years of his WWE career. During Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts’ feud with “Macho Man” Randy Savage, Roberts was about to attack Savage and Miss Elizabeth with a steel chair from the back of the curtain. It would be The Undertaker who made the save, preventing the attack from happening and alerting Macho Man and Elizabeth.
His face turn was official in a Funeral Parlor segment when Undertaker confirmed that he wasn’t Roberts’ ally. Though he had already won one world title up to that point, the face turn was a big step in taking his career to a new level in the WWF.
