X-Pac played a great underdog babyface against Shane McMahon, who was the European Champion heading into WrestleMania XV. The heated DX vs Corporation feud (which we’ll get back to) led to Shane McMahon capturing the European title and then putting it on the line against the DX member.
Long before his stunts that he would be known for, Shane McMahon tried to prove himself to the locker room and X-Pac gave him a great start for a big match. In a surprisingly underwhelming card, X-Pac vs Shane McMahon didn’t disappoint. Triple H‘s betrayal would be the big shock of the match as he cost X-Pac the title.
