WWE Wishes Chris Jericho A Happy Birthday

WWE took the time to wish current IWGP Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho a Happy Birthday. The former WWE Superstar turned 48 years old today. To honor Jericho, WWE.com has posted a gallery featuring a number of Jericho photos representing his evolution from Ayatollah of Rock ‘n’ Rolla to the ‘You Just Made The List!’ Jericho. Fans interested in taking a peak at that gallery may do so HERE.

Y2J is celebrating his 48th Birthday in true rock star fashion. Jericho played a show with band Fozzy at Max Watt’s House of Music in Melbourne, Australia and was presented a custom cake that would have made Val Venis blush:

21 Year Montreal Screwjob Anniversary (VIDEO)

Today marks the 21st anniversary of the infamous Montreal Screwjob, where WWE CEO Vince McMahon finagled the WWE Championship off then championship Bret “Hitman” Hart in controversial fashion before a stunned Montreal crowd.

Hart alleges that he was never informed of what was about to happen and after he found himself in his own finisher (The Sharpshooter) Vince McMahon called for the bell and awarded the WWE Championship to Bret’s nemesis Shawn Michaels. An incensed Hart spit in McMahon’s face and then decked him backstage before leaving the WWE for WCW. Hart wouldn’t work with the WWE for another eight years.

WWE tweeted the following video in honor of today’s 21st anniversary:
