NJPW World Tag League Results (11/30) Are The Besties Still Besties? More.

FIFTH MATCH: World Tag League Tournament Match: Killer Elite Squad (Lance Archer & Davey Boy Smith Jr.) (8 pts) vs. Suzuki-gun (Zack Sabre Jr. & Taichi) (10 pts)

Archer spent the beginning of the match literally chasing Taichi around the arena. Archer eventually catches Taichi and drags him backstage. This leads to a wrestling exhibition from Davey Boy and Sabre. The exchanges are fierce, with Smith getting the strength advantage. Archer brings Taichi back to the ring, and the tables turn. Sabre and Taichi hit a series of fierce kicks. Archer blocks the Thrust Kick with a Pounce. KES hit Taichi with Killer Bomb and Archer covers for the pinfall.

WINNERS: Killer Elite Squad (10 pts)

SIXTH MATCH: World Tag League Tournament Match: Jeff Cobb & Michael Elgin (8 pts) vs. CHAOS (Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano) (10 pts)

The match started out tame enough. Yano and Elgin spent the opening of the match taking part in the usual Yano shenanigans. Cobb and Ishii tag in and start wailing on each other. Yano spent the match letting Ishii beat on the two giant foreigners, while sneaking in low-blows, face rakes, and the like. Ishii eats a Buckle Bomb and a Tiger Driver but Elgin can’t keep him down. The match culminates in a series of lariats from Ishii, followed by a Vertical Drop Brainbuster for the pinfall.

WINNERS: CHAOS (12 pts)

SEVENTH MATCH: World Tag League Tournament Match: Los Ingobernables de Japon (EVIL & SANADA) (12 pts) vs. Guerrillas Of Destiny (Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa) (10 pts)

LIJ dominated the majority of this high energy match. Tanga Loa took the majority of the abuse, with Tama and Jado getting involved at points. LIJ’s dominance was ended when the referee got knocked down and Jado interfered even more. G.O.D hit a Super Powerbomb on SANADA for the pinfall.

WINNERS: Guerrillas Of Destiny (12 pts)

MAIN EVENT: Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kazuchika Okada, KUSHIDA & Rocky Romero vs. Bullet Club (Jay White, Bad Luck Fale, Taiji Ishimori & Gedo)

The match starts with a wild brawl and the energy never really dies down. Spectacular matchups like Rocky Romero vs. Bad Luck Fale and Tanahashi vs. Gedo are a delight. Okada spends the match distracted by White, sacrificing momentum at every turn to get his hands on the New Zealander. After plenty of shenanigans, Tanahashi and Okada finally get on the same page and clear house. Rocky and Ishimori trade a breathless series of nearfalls before Ishimori hits Bloody Cross on Rocky to get the pinfall.

WINNERS: Bullet Club
