MLW Signs Gringo Loco

2018 comes to quite the close for ‘The Base God,’ Gringo Loco, who looks ahead to bigger and better things in 2019. Mike Johnson of PW Insider reports that Court Bauer‘s Major League Wrestling has signed the Chicago independent wrestling star to a contract.

Gringo Loco previously wrestled for MLW at their November 2018 Chicago show. Although he was defeated by Marko Stunt, he was wowed the Chicago crowd and impressed mightily.

The 33 year old veteran has been wrestling for 18 years and has participated in some jaw-dropping matches, including several bouts with WWE Superstar and fellow Chicago native Mustafa Ali. Gringo Loco credits Ali with being his teacher and asserts that Ali, ‘Taught me everything I knew about American wrestling at that point in my career.’

Loco has previously competed in Mexico for AAA where has worked primarily as a rudo, or heel wrestler. The American born luchador confirmed Johnson’s report via Twitter, “So 2018 went very well. Here’s some icing on the cake. Thank you Court Bauer.”
