Nikki Bella Opens Up About First Date After John Cena, Why She Informs Cena After Every Date, & Whether He Does The Same

Total Bellas star Nikki Bella recently spoke with Metro‘s Emma Kelly and opened up about her dating life after ending her engagement to fellow WWE Superstar John Cena. Bella talked about being ’embarrassed’ due to the camera crew that came along to the date, “It’s crazy because I wanted to capture my first date, and it was my first date in over six years. I was already nervous, but then I was double nervous because there was a camera crew there, I was so embarrassed.” Despite the embarrassment, Bella enjoyed the experience, “But it’s one of those fun experiences that just makes you feel like a girl again. I felt like Carrie from Sex And The City.”

When asked whether there would be a Total Bellas season 5, Bella replied, “My family and I, we love doing reality TV, we’re very comfortable with putting our lives out there, and we also sit back and think, “wow, we get to work together”. It doesn’t even feel like work, and it’s just so much fun to be together. But we really love what we do. The craziest stuff happens to Brie and I all the time, I mean, it just doesn’t stop. So as long as our lives continue to be this way, I want to stay in reality TV.”

Bella also recently revealed to People Magazine that she gives John Cena a heads up after every date she’s been on, “I let him know everything. He’s known every date I’ve been on.” Bella added, “Anything I knew was coming out or anything that I’ve done I’ve let him know. I don’t ever want him to be hurt by it or shocked by it. I know that is things that I don’t have to do, but it’s just who I am.” Does John Cena extend the same courtesy to Nikki Bella? According to People Magazine, Bella attests that Cena doesn’t necessarily return the favor.

Total Bellas airs on E! every Sunday evening at 8PM EST.
