New Details On The Revival Reportedly Requesting WWE Release

Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting new details about The Revival‘s reported request to be released from their WWE deals. According to Satin’s sources, The Revival’s request was made due to how little time the WWE is currently investing in their tag team division. Additionally,  The Revival feels that the tag team division has been given little respect. This is not limited to just the duo themselves, but the entire division, as a whole.

The source pointed to The Club being an afterthought on WWE television despite coming to the company as a major signing. Additionally, The Authors of Pain were absent from WWE television shortly after their main roster debut. All of this has reportedly weighed on the team and has been significant enough to want to be released from their WWE deal.

According to Satin’s sources, things came to a boiling point on RAW when the RAW Tag Team Champions (Bobby Roode and Chad Gable) were not even featured on the show. The Revival then asked for their release, but their request was reportedly denied.

Sources also added that there has been communication between both sides since Monday, but also noted that there is a significant amount of time left on The Revival’s WWE deal.
