On his match Triple H at WrestleMania X8:
The real main event of the show was Hogan and Rock. I knew it. I was pitching for my match to not go on last. How do you follow something like that? We couldn’t. You could see the air coming out of the room. I have never watched that match back. I was behind Stephanie McMahon in the graphic and I called Kevin Dunn to tell him it needed to be changed. The buildup was not great and the match itself was not great. But at least I guess I can say I was in the main event of WrestleMania.
On CM Punk being upset he wasn’t the main event of WrestleMania 29:
I told him he worked with The Undertaker and that was the main event. He said he couldn’t say that because he wasn’t on last. I told him being on last does not mean it’s the main event. He wasn’t having any of it.
