Nikki Bella Announces Retirement From In-Ring Competition In ‘Total Bellas’ Season Finale

Last week on Total Bellas, Brie Bella announced her retirement from in-ring competition and now her sister Nikki Bella is following suit.

On the season four finale of of Total Bellas last night, Nikki announced that she too is done with wrestling in the squared circle during a 35th birthday dinner she shared with her twin sister, citing how the traveling aspect was a rough matter to get re-accustomed to:

“[The tour] was good but I just feel like I’m too old for that travel. The travel was really, really rough,” Nikki told her family during the twins’ 35th birthday celebration, explaining that the relentless schedule on tour had been especially hard on her body this time around. “I was like, why am I doing this anymore?” she finished.

“So, you’re done? Boots hung?” asked J.J. Garcia, to which Nikki confidently replied, “Yeah.”

“Well, you can hang ’em right next to mine,” toasted Brie with a raised glass.

Nikki also revealed that she has found a new home and plans to lay roots in Los Angeles and the episode actually ended with the Twin Magic magically disappearing from one another as Nikki heads to the City of Angels while Brie makes her way to her her new homestead in Phoenix, AZ.

Brie Bella had some very big reasons for retiring on last week’s episode, as she wants to put a heavy focus on being there for her daughter Birdie and she also wants to focus on having a second child with her WWE Champion husband, Daniel Bryan.
