Here comes a new challenger in the realm of wrestling action figures. Boss Fight Studios, a relatively new company formed by industry veterans are teaming with Masked Republic to produce a line of figures based on their Legends of Lucha Libre brand.
Masked Republic represents stars such as Rey Mysterio, Konnan, Juventud Guerrera, and Rey Fenix. The proposed line, launching in 2020, will feature “unique action figures, carry cases, role play and blind packs featuring the heroic luchadores.” Masked Republic COO Kevin Kleinrock commented that Boss Fight were “exactly what we have been searching for in a global toy partner.” He also mentions that the deal also covers their upcoming Lil’ Luchas brand.
