Walter: ‘I Never Believed That Trent Seven Could Achieve Anything as a Singles Wrestler’

Speaking with the Daily Star ahead of a title unification match with Trent Seven, current Progress Wrestling World Champion (and WWE United Kingdom Champion) Walter said that his opponent Trent Seven was a “bad influence” on those around him. Seven, who will be putting up his Progress Atlas Championship in what is being promoted as the “biggest match in PROGRESS history” is known to WWE fans as one half of Mustache alongside Tyler Bate.

Walter continued about Trent’s backstage demeanor: “If you compare them both, it’s obvious that Tyler is the one who works harder. Trent is always running around backstage, cracking jokes, getting dressed very late and all those things.” As for Walter, despite holding gold all across Europe, he notes that such accolades aren’t important to him. “That’s also the difference between me and 99% of my fellow wrestlers. My wife, family, and friends, they mean everything to me.”

Walter and Trent Seven are set to clash at the Super Strong Style 16 tournament event on May 5.
