Ali Talks Fasting For Ramadan While Working WWE Schedule, Shows Workout Routine On ‘Celtic Warrior Workouts’

WWE shared a video of Ali being interviewed about practicing his Muslim faith during Ramadan, the holy month in which an individual fasts between sunrise and sunset to reflect, pray and be apart of the community.

In the interview, Ali talks the importance of the holy month and what fasting reminds him of and how he’s made adjustment to his workout regimen and sleep schedule in addition to being away from family. Ali also shares a funny story about his one uncle during Ramadan. The full eight-minute interview is below:

WWE Superstar Ali details life on the road during the holy month of Ramadan, when strict fasting is observed from sunrise to sunset. Ali explains how he adjusts his training schedule and performs during Ramadan, as well as his family traditions and more.

Ali also shared his Ramadan workout routine with Sheamus on this week’s episode of “Celtic Warrior Workouts”

WWE Superstar Sheamus aka The Celtic Warrior here… I challenge myself workout after workout to Brave Change which can on occasion lead to me looking stupid and/or landing on my arse. Adding the additional pressure of having to respect the Ramadan tradition of fasting from Sun Rise to Sun Set (and messing it up!) prior to doing some very tough Cardio Circuits with WWE Superstar Ali (formerly Mustafa Ali) was probably not advisable. But I gave it my best shot and I learned a lot about Ali’s life and gained so much respect for this super talented and super positive wrestler. And yes, I ended up looking stupid trying to keep-up with Ali’s nimble footwork but what’s new there? Ramadan Kareem to all and… Brave Change.
