WWE has made a new signing to their developmental brand NXT. According to Wrestle Maniacos, the promotion’s latest signee is Marcos Gomes. The Brazilian has a background in martial arts having trained in both muay Thai and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, where he is a purple belt. It’s a well-rounded background that shows he knows how to throw a kick and latch on a submission.
Gomes was one of 14 Brazilian athletes that tried out in Chile last year. You can check out video of him showing off his striking skills below.
