Since Samoa Joe humiliated Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania, the two competitors have been engaged in an increasingly personal feud. At Money in the Bank, the two men faced off with the title on the line. This time, it was Mysterio’s turn to earn a surprisingly quick victory with a questionable call by the referee. With the win, Mysterio won the United States Championship for the first time. After the match, Joe attacked the new champion.
