The IIconics have finally defended their Women’s Tag Team Championship against quality competition. On RAW this week, Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss challenged Peyton Royce and Billie Kay for the championship. The two teams continued their feud, which has escalated in recent weeks. SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley came to ringside to watch the match. (She’ll face Bliss at Stomping Grounds.)
Kay and Bliss began the match as the legal women. The champions ganged up on Bliss but she managed to tag in Cross. The IIconics isolated Cross from Bliss and double-teamed her. Bliss shoved Bayley at ringside but Kay rolled up Cross for the win. Bayley shoved Bliss back and stood tall over her challenger.
