After Shane McMahon took a vicious beatdown from Roman Reigns last night on Monday Night RAW, he, Elias, and Drew McIntyre made their way out to SmackDown Live. There, The Miz interrupted their segment to come out and mock McMahon for the beatdown last night. From there, the Miz continued to rail on McMahon, telling him that he wasn’t the best in the world and that he feels guilty for creating the “monster” that Shane has become.

After the two had gone back and forth, Shane proposed a match for the Miz, with McIntyre and Elias going against Miz and a partner of his choosing in a Tag Team Elimination match. Fortunately for Miz, R-Truth was wandering around ringside, and no Awesome Truth was reunited for a brief moment.
Once the match began, it was clear from the start that Elias and McIntyre had the upper hand. Although Truth was able to hold his own for a bit, some interference from Shane McMahon made it impossible for the Miz to get into the match, and Truth was promptly eliminated. With just the Miz left in the ring, he was no match for McIntyre and Elias, who absolutely beat down the superstar, and McIntyre finished things off with a big punch to the head.
