OWE Signs A New U.K. Talent, Konnan Confronts The Rascalz Ahead Of Slammiversary

OWE Signs A New U.K. Talent

By forming a partnership with All Elite Wrestling and then having The Strong Hearts compete against SCU at AEW Double Or Nothing, OWE has been a healthy presence in the wrestling news world. Today the promotion out of China announced that they signed a new talent from the United Kingdom in Rob Sharpe. Full details of the man known as “Filthy Gorgeous” are below:

We have today signed one of the United Kingdom’s top independent talents to an OWE contract, “Filthy Gorgeous” Rob Sharpe will travel to China in just 2 days time to begin touring with us.

Billed as 6ft 4in, 240lbs, Rob Sharpe from Leicester, is filthy, gorgeous and the man with the golden tan. Pound for pound one of the strongest up and coming heavyweight wrestlers around today. Don’t let his pink ring attire fool you, as he uses mind games and filthy ways to lure in his opponents, before unleashing his power, strength, and aggression in full force upon his opponents.

Trained by Stixx, Rob’s career highlights include winning the Frontline Wrestling Puro European Openweight Championship, IPW United Kingdom’s Z Force and Tag Team Championships, and has wrestled against top talent such as another of OWE’s recent signees, Shigehiro Irie, Matt Taven, Mark Haskins, AEW’s Jimmy Havoc, David Starr, AEW’s Kip Sabian, UK Legend Jody Fleisch, and the man who visited our Japan show, just days ago, Chris Brookes. Rob also competed in the IPW event in New York for WrestleMania week.

It was recently unveiled that Rob Sharpe was behind recent attacked of the AEW Double or Nothing Tournament winners, and therefore, we expect he will be not coming alone.

Keep an eye on our social media for more breaking news all next week.

Konnan Confronts The Rascalz Ahead Of Slammiversary

The Rascalz were hanging in their “treehouse” after the events of this week’s IMPACT and who entered the trio’s hallowed halls but Konnan. The wrestling legend talks about how Trey Miguel, Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz alll remind him of LAX, but one item is missing: respect. The Rascalz hope to gain that as they face LAX for the IMPACT Tag Team Championships at Slammiversary, but not before the three take on Santana, Ortiz and the Laredo Kid in triple tag action next Friday.

Konnan has some harsh words for The Rascalz ahead of their Tag Team Championship match against LAX at Slammiversary!
