Prior to launching himself and Bobby Lashley through the Monday Night RAW set, Braun Strowman joined the Mike Jones podcast to discuss a variety of topics. The interview ranged from what Strowman does while traveling, his thoughts on Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff’s new roles, and much more.
Check out some highlights below:
On making the most of traveling:
A lot of times, I try to make the most out of it on the road. I’m getting to travel around the world right now, and doing what I love, I try to take advantage of it. I got a good group of guys that I ride with on the road, and we usually get up every morning, get a good meal in, hit the gym, get a sweat on, eat again, and then we try to find something fun to do … We’re all normal human beings, we just have crazy jobs for a living, so it’s always fun to run into the fans when I’m out being a silly, fun kid.
His thoughts on Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff’s new roles as Executive Directors:
You know, it’s awesome. It’s just more creative that’s going to help everybody out. These guys have been in the industry for a long, long time and have been very successful at what they’ve done, and it’s always great to add extra minds into everything because this is such an unbelievable production that goes on to make this show happen week in and week out.
On his favorite thing that he’s destroyed:
Oh man, the coolest one for me was probably when I superplexed Big Show off the top rope and we imploded the ring. That was something else! That video has been replayed so many times and everything else. I don’t know, it’s honestly hard to choose my favorite one, I mean they’re all awesome. The things that we’ve been able to pull off on TV and the things I’ve been able to physically do and things, it still boggles my mind, and we’re not anywhere near done with it.
