Barbi Hayden Hanging Up Her Wrestling Boots, Headed To Las Vegas To Perform In ‘Atomic Saloon’

Pro wrestler Barbi Hayden has announced she’s leaving professional wrestling and will now grace a new stage, as she has joined the new Atomic Saloon Show that will open in Las Vegas this fall.

Best known for her work on the indy wrestling circuit and on AXS TV as WOW Superhero, Abilene Maverick, Hayden is currently in Edinburgh, Scotland, bringing her moves to Atomic Saloon by Spiegelworld for the show’s world premiere at Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The former NWA Women’s Champion will then head to Las Vegas for the opening of Atomic Saloon at The Venetian Las Vegas in September 2019, which will include acrobatics, comedy, aerial pole dance, hula, Irish hand dancing, and wrestling.

Spiegelworld is known for their highly successful shows; Opium and Absinthe. Hayden has joined the cast of the newest $4.3 million Spiegelworld show, which is a fun, adults-only circus-variety blend of “Blazing Saddles” meets “America’s Got Talent” meets ”Westworld”.

Could this be the wildest watering hole in town? Her first hotel was acquired by the government as an atomic bomb test site, but, decades later, Boozy Skunkton has returned. She has collected the “most abnormally sexy but sensationally amoral” troupe of entertainers on earth and is determined to create the greatest saloon show the world has ever known. With an international cast of comic actors, variety acts, and acrobats, Atomic Saloon Show will take audiences to the Wild West as it never was.

Hayden spoke to Wrestlezone earlier this year about her work with WOW, and how it was a reinvention of the GLOW series from the ’80s, as well as her rivalry with Santana Garrett and much more. The full interview can be heard in the player below.
