Tommy Dreamer Shows Love To Harley Race Post-Match At Bar Wrestling (Video)

Tommy Dreamer took on Tyler Bateman last night in the semi-main event of Bar Wrestling’s “And Out Come The Wolves” show last night in Baldwin, CA. Post match, “The Innovator Of Violence” had some heartfelt words for the late legendary Harley Race who passed away yesterday morning at the age of 76. Dreamer focuses on ‘The King’s” ability to last in the ring and tells the live crowd that the proof of that is any Race match that you look up on YouTube. The brief clip and transcript are below:

“As far as about being tough or about being in bars, wrestling nine days a week and if you just go on YouTube and look up his name, ‘Harley Race vs.’ Every single match: 25 minutes, 30 minutes, 40 minutes, 60 minutes. It’s what I love about this place and it’s what I love about wrestling. I love you guys.”

Dreamer is the first wrestler to speak on the mic regarding Harley’s passing, but plenty of colleagues and promotions were sure to pay their respect to the Pro Wrestling Hall Of Famer. Generational talents from Frankie Kazarian to Bret Hart all shared how Race has influenced and impacted their careers over the years.
