AEW Women’s Championship Match: Riho vs. Nyla Rose
Rose misses a splash in the corner. Riho responds with a dropkick. Head scissors by Riho. Rose runs over Riho with a shoulder block. Splash by Rose. Riho matrixes out of the pin. Riho tries a double stomp but Rose shrugs her off. Rose puts Riho in the crossface. Riho makes it to the ropes. Riho lands two running knee strikes. Rosee falls out of the ring. Riho dives of the top. Rose catches Riho. Rose backbreakers Riho. Rose pulls a chair from under the ring. The referee wrestles the chair away from Rose. Rose sends Riho into the barricade. Rose pulls multiple chairs out from under the ring. Rose lays Riho on a pile of chairs. Rose dives off the apron for a senton but Riho moves out of the way.
Riho hits a stomp off the apron. Riho sends Rose back into the ring. Riho hits another double stomp off the top. Rose kicks out. Riho puts Rose in a crossface. Rose gets to the ropes. Rose suplexes Riho on the top rope. As Riho is hanging from the top, Rose nails her with a King Kong Knee Drop off the top. Rose puts Riho in the crossface again. Rose tries a Powerbomb. Riho tries to lift Rose but Riho’s legs give out. Rose laughs at Riho. Riho tries to fire up. Riho hits the ropes and runs right into a big boot. Riho rolls up Rose for what looked like a three count. The referee says it was only two. Rose DVDs Riho. Riho kicks out. Rose goes up top. Riho cuts her off. Riho northern lights suplexes Rosee off the top! Rose kicks out! Riho blasts Rose with a running knee for the win!
Winner and NEW AEW Women’s Champion, Riho!
After the match, Michael Nakazawa tries to interview Riho. Rose attacks them both from behind. Rose tries to powerbomb Nakazawa but she almost drops him on his head. Rose powers Nakazawa up and hits a Liger Bomb. Rose tries to DVD Riho on the apron. Kenny Omega runs down to the ring and breaks it up.
