Fans at Monday Night RAW were treated to a surprise return from the WWE legend. He took on former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy. The younger superstar had a clear advantage early on but the veteran managed to hit the Side Effect and battle back into the match.

The end came after Murphy reversed a Twist of Fate attempt with a series of brutal knees. Murphy got bloodied up during the bout, but still remains a major threat in RAW. After his bout, he called out Aleister Black, who quickly greeted him inside the ring. The two brawled but it was Black that came out on the better end of the exchange with a huge knee of his own.
