When Edge returned after a 9-year tournament due to injury at the 2020 Royal Rumble event, it was one of the most genuinely surprising and heartwarming moments in WWE.
Throughout the majority of their careers, Edge and Christian have been linked together. Having grown up together as best friends and winning 7 WWE Tag Team Championships together, their careers will always be intertwined throughout the annals of history.

Naturally, when Edge came back, many fans began to wonder if Christian would ever be medically cleared. Christian stopped wrestling in late 2013 due to concussion issues.
Recently, Christian was interviewed by Booker T on Booker’s podcast, and “Captain Charisma” said he isn’t sure he would ever be medically cleared by WWE but at the age of forty-six, is content with all that he accomplished.
“I mean, it’s one of those things, right? It’s a completely different injury,” Christian began. “You know, I’m pretty content with all that I’ve accomplished in WWE, I pretty much accomplished everything I ever wanted to do except main event WrestleMania. Let’s be honest, how many people actually get a chance to do that? I’m forty-six years old, you know, and I had some concussion issues. It’s just a matter of, you know, I don’t see it happening. I’m medically disqualified. I just don’t. Not sure how I would ever get cleared.”
For the most part, Christian makes appearances on WWE these days as an analyst, whether on WWE Backstage or a WWE pay-per-view Kickoff panel.
