In-Ring Segment: The Velveteen Dream
Dream says it’s typical that Cole didn’t show up. Dream isn’t stupid. That video was cut when it was still light out. Dream says Cole maybe the greatest NXT Champion ever. Dream wants Cole to remember two words: Dream Over. Finn Bálor walks up behind Dream. Bálor says he doesn’t know Dream or like him. Bálor hasn’t said a word to Dream. If Dream isn’t more careful with his words when talking about the greatest NXT Champion he is going to end up with a date to with the Prince. Dream asks Bálor to pick him up next Wednesday at 8 PM.
Backstage, Malcolm Bivens is with Rinku and Saurav. Bivens says they are watching the title match closely.
Riddle walks out with both tag titles. Pete Dune appears on the screen and announces Riddle’s partner tonight: Timothy Thatcher.
NXT Tag Team Championship Match: Matt Riddle and Timothy Thatcher vs. Roderick Strong and Bobby Fish
Riddle mocks Fish. Fish charges Riddle and gets slammed to the mat. Riddle puts Fish in a rear-naked choke. Fish rolls to the ropes. After a distraction from Strong, Fish attacks Riddle from behind. Riddle and Fish trade submission attempts. After the break, Thatcher is working an armbar on Strong. Strong tries to roll free and ends up getting put in a bow and arrow. Strong gets to the ropes. Fish and Strong take turns working Thatcher over in their corner. Thatcher eventually tags in Riddle. Riddle crushes Strong with a senton. Riddle blasts Strong with a series of gut-wrench suplexes. Thatcher hits a gut wrench on Fish.
