The Watch List takes a look at what matches you should be watching while you’re at home and they come recommended by your favorite professional wrestling stars.
“I think it was down in the city of Fukuoka, that’s all the details that I know. It might have been a year after [Bullet Club] formed, so maybe 2014,” Tama said. “Prince Devitt was going against Tanahashi, and me, Karl Anderson, Rey Bucanero were seconding him. Captain New Japan and Tiger Mask were on Tanahashi’s side and just because I was right there to watch it is probably why it’s one of my favorite matches.”
Ross Berman’s pick was Tama’s run in the G1 Climax 28 tournament in 2018, noting that it was a great run in Tama’s career.
“Off the top of my head, Tama’s G1 run in 2018. He’s trying to burn down those buildings some of the time. That legitimately is one of my favorite runs in the G1 Climax,” Berman said. “[Tama] tweeted it out earlier and I was like ‘yeah, that’s the one.’”
We added some free-to-watch recommendations to the list and selected a good mix of bouts from Tama’s career, including two bouts with Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa as the Guerrillas Of Destiny, as well as one of Tama’s matches with DEFY.
