It was the biggest match in the career of Marq Quen and the Private Party member put on a performance that shows he’s one to watch. Despite going up against a veteran in Rhodes, Quen used his natural athleticism to stay competitive throughout the match. His finest moment came when Quen hit a 450 splash on the ramp. However, the champion used his experience and decided to work over Quen’s knee during the match.

The end came after Rhodes locked in an ankle lock after Quen went for a shooting star press. Quen was forced to submit and Cody retained the belt.

After the bout, Jake Hager came down to the ring and made it clear that he was facing Rhodes next week by putting his hands on Arn Anderson and then slamming the champion down. Private Party and Matt Hardy would then come down and use chairs to force Hager away. Rhodes then announced he’ll face Hager at Fyter Fest.
