The rivalry between Chris Jericho and Orange Cassidy continued in the main event of AEW Dynamite with $7,000 on the line. This was a rematch as Jericho won the original bout between the two, although Cassidy won a debate last week to even the score somewhat.

Similar to their first bout, this was a back-and-forth battle between the two. Cassidy was far from a comedic wrestler and showed tremendous heart against the former AEW Champion. However, it had a very different ending as Cassidy was the one that wound up on top. Jericho whiffed on a Judas Effect and was rolled up for a three count by Mike Chioda.
