Cruiserweight Championship Match: Santos Escobar (c) vs. Isaiah “Swerve” Scott
As Escobar walks down the ramp, he tells Mendoza and Wilde to head to the back. Escobar hits a ranna but Scott lands on his feet. Escobar and Scott trade pin attempts. Scott sends Escobar to the outside. Scott hits a dive. Scott goes up top and lands a twisting senton to the outside, flattening Escobar. Scott goes back into the ring as Escobar gets to his feet. Scott hits a Fosbury flop. Scott bends Escobar’s arm around the turnbuckle.
Scott bends Escobar’s arm the wrong way. Scott drops his bodyweight on Escobar’s arm, slamming it into the mat. Flying armbar by Scott. Escobar gets to the ropes. Escobar sends Scott to the outside. Suicide dive by Escobar. Scott kicks out. Escobar sits Scott on the top rope. Escobar hits an avalanche ranna. Scott kicks out. Scott and Escobar trade strikes. Scott unleashes a flurry of strikes, ending with a nasty lariat.
Scott hits his tope rope basement European uppercut. Escobar rolls out of the ring. Scott hits a PK on the apron. Rolling thunder flatliner by Scott. Escobar kicks out. As Escobar is standing on the top rope, Scott dropkicks him in both knees. Escobar is hung up on the second rope. Scott hits a leaping hangman’s DDT. Escobar kicks out. Mendoza and Wilde run down to ringside. Mendoza hooks Scott’s leg, allowing Escobar to hit a shoulder breaker. Scott kicks out. Scott Ranna’s Escobar off the top rope onto Mendoza and Wilde.
Ashanti thee Adonis runs down to ringside and attacks Mendoza and Wilde. Scott tries another rolling thunder but Escobar superkicks him out of the air. Escobar hits the Phantom Driver. Scott kicks out! Escobar is apoplectic. Escobar hits the three amigos. Escobar goes up top and misses the frog splash. Scott snaps Escobar’s arm back. Scott hits the House Call followed by a 450 splash! Escobar kicks out at 2.9! Scott and Escobar fight on the apron. Escobar kicks Scott into an exposed turnbuckle. Scott looks to be out cold. Escobar hits a double under hook driver for the win.
