Big E On His Relationship With Kaitlyn: She Bet On Herself, I’m A Fan Of Her Always

Big E never dated WWE’s Kaitlyn, but they do have a friendship and he’s still incredibly proud of her growth.

Big E was this week’s guest on Oral Sessions with Renee Paquette and talked about his relationship with Celeste Bonin, formerly known as Kaitlyn in WWE. Renee said she knows Big E well, but still did some research to prep for the show and had a good laugh about some of the things she found, including the rumor that he was dating the former WWE star. You can find quite a bit on Google about the alleged relationship, but it’s not true—and Big E said he just spoke with his friend a few weeks ago and is proud of the person she’s become.

“Not as much as when we were on the road all of the time, of course—she’s busy with her life—but yeah, from time to time. I think I texted her a couple of weeks ago, just because I’m really proud of her journey. She dealt with a really messy divorce and I met her current ‘lover’ and he’s a great dude. At first, I didn’t like some of the earlier ones,” Big E explained, “and I’m like, ‘Maybe I’m just jealous. Is that the reason?’ But then I realized how things unfolded, and I’m like, ‘No! They’re terrible people!’ But him, I liked right away and he’s a good dude, and I’m really happy for the both of them.”

“She posts often about her journey, mentally, and I’m just really proud of her growth as a human. So, I just hit her up briefly and we just talked about that stuff. It’s really good to see her in a good place, and for her to leave the company and just start this business,” Big E said, “and seeing that it’s still going strong. It’s a successful, good business. I think she’s the inventor of the ‘Booty Scrunch’ too, I don’t know if you knew that, but I think she is.”

Big E also spoke about how it was time for ‘Kaitlyn’ to leave WWE, but Celeste bet on herself and it’s paying off:

“Sometimes your time is up at a certain job and I could tell, even when she didn’t tell me anything, I could just tell. Like oh, it’s time for her to do something else. As bittersweet as it was, and I obviously didn’t want to see her leave and didn’t want to see her stagnant in her life either,” Big E said, “it was cool to see her decide to bet on herself and do something cool and also grow as a person. So it was cool to see that. I’m a fan of her always.”
